L V L – Length, Volume & Lift.
LVL, if you didn’t know, is a firm favourite here in the boutique with our clients and us therapists.
Low maintenance treatment, no harsh perming techniques and can last up to 8 weeks. Just a few reasons why we love this treatment!
Here’s why we love our LVL treatment…
- The treatment only uses your natural lash
- No need for lash extensions or glues
- Results last up to 8 weeks
- There is low maintenance after having the treatment
- Lashes are darkened and lifted adding length and volume to the lashes leaving a beautiful finish.
The process takes up to 1 hour…lets have a look…
Step 1 – Once a suitable ‘shield’ has been chosen for your lash lift (this is dependant on your natural lash length and how much of a lift you are looking for), your lashes are lifted up and stuck back onto the shield using a small amount of adhesive. This is not uncomfortable, although it may feel slightly strange if it is your first time having the LVL treatment, you soon get used to having your eyes closed like this and alot of our clients do tend to fall asleep…zzzzzz.
Step 2 – The ‘lifting’ balm is then applied to the lashes as close to the lash line. This will loosen the lash bonds which gives the lash its structure, so that it can then be manipulated to the new lifted shape from the shield. This stays on up to 14 minutes.
Step 3 – The lifting balm is removed and on goes the ‘fixing’ balm. This builds the lashes bonds back up to its new lifted structure. This stays on for up to 7 minutes.
Step 4 – The fixing balm is removed and on goes the tint. This will colour and darken the lashes. This will stay on for 5 minutes. Many peoples lashes are very fair or sometimes it can be just the tips of the lashes that are fair. Once they are tinted the lashes will look more defined and appear longer.
Once the tint is removed, a conditioning serum is applied to the lashes which will stay on the lashes. A clear, more watery substance, this also helps to ‘un-stick’ the lashes from the shield and also from removing the shield from the eyelids. After the shields are then removed from the eyelids, we have given a little comb through the lashes…ta da…
